Today's the day ................................ to discover

In the Winster Valley to the west of Kendal, there's a single track leafy lane that winds its way southwards. It's a road that I have never been on before, but I found myself there this afternoon and that's when I came upon Winster Holy Trinity Church.

It's a beautiful little church - full of interesting things to look at including a couple of stained glass windows by Henry Holiday. I will have to tell you about him another time.

In the meantime - here's the wonderful wooden door that amazingly was unlocked so that passers-by could go in and discover the church for themselves ...................
