Home Away From Home

We're having a few days in a nice little Airbnb apartment in a quiet residential area of Vancouver, British Columbia. It's great to be able to drive to another country so quickly!

We had an outstanding and inexpensive Indian meal this evening, with enough leftovers for a second generous repast. The little restaurant was a 10-minute walk from our temporary home, and there is also an excellent Malaysian restaurant and a Lebanese one within easy walking distance -- just the sort of neighborhood we wished we lived in!

After our weeklong September trip full of activities, it's relaxing to have a brief break with no set plans other than to walk a lot, enjoy diverse cuisines, and see what happens!

I'd also like to catch up on commenting, but that may have to wait...
