Summertime, and the living is ... sweet!

I intended to photograph the toddlers having some fun with water in the back yard this afternoon to meet Missymoo's challenge today, Welcome Summer. But when Liza and I went for our scoot, this Pied Piper ice cream truck drove up the street playing its obnoxious brain worm ditty and the children came from all over!

The dark haired girl in front could not stand still - she jumped up and down and ran back and forth the entire time she waited for her ice cream. Wonder what she was like on the sugar high.

In the tradition of free enterprise, the ice cream truck trumped the neighborhood lemonade stand, at least for a little while.
