Bearing Witness

Wow. Today was just one of those days when everything I looked at was so beautiful. That  makes it really really difficult to just choose one favorite photo of the day, I set out today for Poe Paddy State Park because I just knew I would catch the leaves beginning their metamorphosis. Well, I was correct. I saw and photographed the lovely picturesque lake with water so still the setting sun cast perfect mirror images of the trees onto it. I also saw and photographed a few of the smaller trees with a smattering of red among their green leaves. But, in the end, my favorite photo of the day is the one I snapped of my sidekick, King with his head popped out of the car window as he is wont to do, as we stood together drinking in the view of the mountains at one of my favorite spots, Bells Majestic View.
