Bus waiting

A day working at home. Wind and rain seemed to be hammering on the window all day but luckily it had eased off before we headed off to town for tonight's musical extravaganza - an intimate evening with Art Garfunkel.

It's beyond me how you can be intimate with a performer in the presence of 100s of other people. Perhaps David Cameron can explain. We didn't have really high expectations and it was more curiosity to see how a mainstream performer had weathered the passage of time. It was a good but not a great concert. The old chestnuts were well delivered and enjoyable. The audience mainly went wild for him but we agreed it wasn't our stand out musical experience of the year.
