Snakes

It's not every day that I get to hold a Royal Python ...it was thanks to Katarina, who had the very cool idea of photographing shoes and bags with snakes. They came with their keeper, Kelly-ann, who runs a reptile shop in Dumfries. The snakes were very relaxing to handle (until this one coiled itself around my neck)
The snakes are fed on rats (dead) once a week. I don't think I'll be getting one as a pet but it was good to have the opportunity to see them up close. And Katarina got some great photos :-)
