Talking goat

While driving through Andalucia in southern Spain today on a BMW car launch, we encountered a rocky field full of goats. There must have been a couple of hundred of them, and across the road there were yet more congregating a rocky outcrop.

Goats are one of the oldest domesticated animal species, and have been used for their milk, skins, meat and  hair over much of the world. There are reckoned to be more than 924 million goats across the globe.

Stopping to take photos of this lot, I made goat noises to attract their attention. They responded by bleating back at me. Oh dear, I think I have spent a bit of today talking goat!
