Royal Highland Show Misery

As a rule, I hate shopping malls, but the decision to have a meal, read the paper and do some shopping at the Gyle Shopping centre as I left work tonight was one of my smarter moves.

The Royal Highland Show was kicking off at Ingliston to the west of Edinburgh and the roads had turned into a car park with misery being compounded by rain coming down in sheets.

I cheered myself up with a big fruity, custardy tart.
