The Happiness Goes On and On.....

We were late to discover Happy Meals. I resisted for ages, preferring slightly healthier options like jaffa cakes and cocktail sausages and quavers!! Ironically the Little Misses aren't really that fussed about them but they do like the "presents". We have two Kung Foo Pandas, a torch, a pedometer baton thing, and now, an owl with cress hair.
When we drove to Coventry the other day Miss E suddenly said "I want chips. At McDonalds" I asked her how she knew there was a McDonalds nearby and she replied "I just saw the yellow M"
Putting her phonics to good use!!!
She's adores growing things which is lovely - on our kitchen windowsill we currently have sunflowers, broad beans and a fairy wilfdflower garden which is actually dying so I need to throw it in the bin and hope she doesn't notice! We also have apple and avocado seeds waiting to be planted and sprout forth.
It's a lovely thing to do together.
This afternoon we went to visit Mrs R in her beautiful new house. She has a boy and a girl similar in ages to the Little Misses and they had a fine time running around together. Miss L managed to wee all over the floor three times which was embarrassing - especially as I'd just been singing her praises, saying she seemed to have cracked potty training and only had a few accidents....
She'll get there!!
