Mains Castle

Grandson has a cough/cold so it was decided it would be best not to share it with the toddler group so he came here this morning and informed me we were going for a walk.
After putting out the washing and bottling some plums we went into Caird Park to see the castle, ponds, ducks, fungi, spider webs (see extra), to eat blackberries and inspect the various works going on in the area.
As you can see it was bright, though with a chilly wind.
Later we made some jam, went to café and played with the toy farm and after he'd gone Mr Rat and I went for a short run along part of the old railway.
