Hips

I saw these yesterday when I was out and about and snipped them off and brought them home. I thought they'd come in handy for a dull day. Although looking out of the window now it seems much brighter, it looked really dull earlier on so I got the tripod and camera with macro lens out and did a very simple photo stack. The leaves are a bit spotted and the hips are a bit dark but I thought that only added to the rustic autumn look.

I photographed them against a white background but after I'd processed the shot I isolated it and pulled it down in curves and was pleased to see that it took on the shade of a pale sky and looks much less like a studio conservatory shot.
