A Harvest of Michaelmas

I loved the Harvest Festival at Infant and Junior School. My Mum never sent me with tins or fresh food, she always clipped some michaelmas daisies from our back garden. A bunch of these would always be my contribution. She wanted to make sure we knew that the Harvest festival was about more than going to a supermarket and buying a tin of beans.
