Didn't we have a lovely time...

A trip up to Blackpool (4 hours on the M6 not fun) was rewarded by a beautiful sunset...
We wandered down the prom to watch the fireworks as the day grew dark. Miniman marveled at how much sand there was and how all the lights were sparkly on the pier and the prom.
I used to come to Blackpool with my Mum & Dad. Dad would go fishing at Fleetwood and me & Mum would wander the streets for market bargains, paddle in the sea and generally have fun together during the day then at night we would all go to the Tower ballroom or the Winter Gardens so that Mum & Dad could dance. And boy could they dance! My Dad was a ballroom champion and my Mum was as elegant as they come.
We will visit the Tower ballroom tomorrow I'm sure.
