William's Flag
I'm Peter, and these are my ponderings.
My dad is Paul, and he has a boss of his head on a wall in St Chad's church, Lichfield.
His dad was Cecil, and he was a pilot in the second world war who also worked for hovis.
His dad was William, and he had a flag.
A union flag which has survived for a century, and today got carefully taken out its box to be flown in worryingly windy winds on Exmouth beach for my aunts 65th birthday picnic.
"Why?" You may well ask.
I did. The answer I got?
"Well.... Why not?"
What a pleasantly odd family I have!
