New Award for Dementia Champions launched in ELR

This morning East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group has launched a new award, open to GP practices, voluntary sector organisations and patient groups in the area, designed to identify and spread innovation and great practice across the area in the early identification and treatment of dementia.

The award is one of a number of actions the CCG is taking to raise awareness and diagnosis of dementia, as well as supporting patients and carers who may have concerns about their memory.
