Our picnic visitor

A friendly native water dragon , a juvenile male about 60 cms long and two thirds its full size . Had to add extra picture to show the length. We were reminded of a similar but much larger creature that launched itself onto our picnic table on Fraser Island many years ago , a five foot goanna . We can still picture Dads face and the speed with which he reached for the 4WD and slammed the door shut !!!!
