Well, look at the invitation that came through the post for me today. Already, my imagination is running riot about what I might cook, how the table will be set, the entertainment I'll lay on, what I should wear..How did they manage to pick me from all the millions of others who regularly tune in to Channel 4 to hear Dave Lamb's systematic humiliation of the contestants? Erm, maybe on second thoughts...
