Proud and Emotional

What a day!  Never expected to get emotional over a railway station but I did today!  The new atrium to Birmingham New Street Station opened a couple of days ago, the upper floor shops and the new John Lewis store open tomorrow, and I was almost speechless this afternoon as I walked through the atrium.  It made today's Blipmeet even more special than it already was.

My main shot today is a reflection on the Blipmeet.  Those of you who have been into Birmingham lately know that the area around the new development is super shiny and reflective so in this shot you have a total reflection of super handyman husband and three Blippers - Hildasrose, Chantler63 and Lozarithm standing at the bottom of the steps of one of the new entrances into the station looking up at the shiny stuff!  The extras show the entrance with the Birmingham Media Eye above it and the inside of the new atrium.

Lozarithm joined us this afternoon for a tour of the Back to Backs which was fascinating and the three musketeers did the Coffin Works this morning.  We have certainly had an interesting day.  If you've never been on a Blipmeet, come to Birmingham for a good time!
