Capturing my Journey

Young Bud

Bud is quite a handsome boy and doing so well with his sheep work. He came to us at 7 months old he was someones pet and such a high energy collie that she was having a lot of issues with him so we took him on. He showed fantastic natural talent straight away and has never looked back. He is now 18 months old and working so nicely. He is husbands dog and was out helping Pip, Breagh and I at the farm where we manage the livestock this afternoon. We gathered in all the lambs so we could put in their ear tags. We also separated off the suffolk x hebridean lambs who are making the journey down to Oxfordshire tomorrow for their winter grazing. (the owners of this farm own a golf course down there and use the sheep to graze the rough) Pip was on great form today and working really nicely. Its been a long afternoon we couldn't start until after 2pm as it was pouring with rain in the morning. I did manage to nip down the road to top up on dog food though.

12c 5mph SE rain all morning until 1pm then sunshine.

Not been on blip much in between putting in my daily picture and was totally overwhelmed by the response I have had to my two headed calf entry that has ended up at the top of the first popular page a first for me!
