Roman Ship Remains

Today we saw the main inspiration for this trip: the remains of five Roman ships, retrieved from frozen, snowy ground in the early 1980s, as well as replicas of the ships, a couple lifesize. It was awesome to hold one of the nails from an original ship and compare it with copies used in building the replicas.
