All white on the night

Visitors have been surprised to find a rhododendron just coming into flower this late in the season. I'm not entirely sure what this is, R. diaprepes maybe, though that species is supposed to have a fairly distinct green eye. Whatever it is, it's great - and a big shrub too. I remember moving it into its current position many moons ago - the stake is still there to prove it, now greatly outgrown by its stakee!
