Portmain Basilica

In 1871 a number of children in Portmain in France saw the Virgin Mary in the sky above a barn. This resulted in pilgrims coming to visit the spot in droves. The village was overwhelmed by this. They had to do something, so this enormous church was built. The stained glass windows cause this amazing effect.
