'3 Hours of Heaven'

A lovely evening at the Ballet! Well not actually at the Royal Opera House, but I still experienced a 'live link' performance of Romeo and Juliet, by The Royal Ballet. Juliet was actually danced by Sarah Lamb...exquisite and expressive in every way. Steven McRae was also a wonderful Romeo!
A very interesting introduction by Darcy Bussell live at the Opera House, then fascinating interviews ...one with Gabriel Prokofiev, grandson of Sergey Prokofiev. Two intervals, but not too long for us at the Cinema, as this was when we were shown various backstage rehearsals and interviews with the dancers..all pre recorded of course. I never realised that the part of Romeo is extremely challenging...
