What a day!

It is an understatement to say that it is wet here. In fact it is so wet that I am seriously contemplating trading in the car for a boat!

Once again it has not been the best of days. First the rain, then a leak from the sewage drain of the property behind us (don't ask me to explain - the streets and housing plans are very eccentric!). The tiny cottage behind us has access to the road via a pathway across our property and the manhole for their drain is actually on this strip of pathway, right next to our sub-basement bedroom. Water was pouring out and the smell was terrible but the water company got someone out very promptly to fix it thank goodness.

A bad day was then made worse by the fact that when we got the car we could see that someone had kicked it hard enough to seriously damage the rear passenger side panel.

Today's blip is a bid to bring if not sunshine, at least something summery in colour to a dark and dreary day.
