Spring blossom

Dank, easterly morning, but that didn't deter five NPSNZ photographers from braving the drizzle that turned to rain later, to explore a wide variety of flowers in the Edmonds Gardens on Ferry Road.  A lovely peaceful area, tucked away from general view although right by a main road.   It is well cared for by friends of the Gardens.  I especially like the 'Sure to Rise' sundial, a great reminder of the factory that used to own these gardens.  We had to assume the sun was up there somewhere, as there was little evidence of it this morning.
