Addition

Big news of the day was not regarding the post-work swim that I was very happy with (big swim, decent time, room for improvement but feels like I've got it in me to shave off the necessary minute or so with a combination of determination and physical effort) but the arrival at teatime of the new addition to the household.

No photographs, I'll respect his privacy for now, he hasn't asked to be plastered all over the internet, but as my girls rather sweetly read him some stories to help him settle in I couldn't help thinking that this kitten-acquisition is going to turn out to be A Very Good Thing Indeed.
