Hotel Mama

This sign was one of my birthday presents this year from my daughter. It caught my eye as I returned from my late-night dog walk. After making the kids dinner. After grocery shopping. After a full day in the office. You get the picture ;)

What I'm not too sure of, is if the sign should be a tribute to my open-door attitude that welcomes a constant stream of global visitors to our home... or a reflection of the fact that my children maintain an expectation that this is a place where they can enjoy full-service bed and breakfast with laundry service.
