A Moment in Time

Isn't it amazing just what some people can do despite all of the hurdles that are put in their way, I'm lucky to meet these people every day.  What I love  about that is the fact that we're all very different living on this planet together.  

I'm still quite altruistic when I think  about this because I think of us all being equals, I want progressive ideas and solutions to help change our societies for the better.  But my idea of progressive, just may be someone else's idea of torture and my idea of torture is having to smile and say nothing about the injustices I see daily.

I'm told that sometimes I just need to be a little more selfish, but I think not, it's way too difficult to pretend you're something else just to be accepted as one of the gang and way too dishonest for me.



Being yourself is one of the hardest things because it’s scary.  You always wonder whether you’ll be accepted for who you really are.  I decided to call my record ‘Inside Out’ because that’s my motto about life.  I don’t think you every succeed at trying to be anyone else but who you truly are.
