Stanley Bridge over the River Lune
Stanley Bridge over the River Lune was built in the 1930s to accommodate motor traffic when the nearby ancient and Grade 1 listed single track Devils’ Bridge was closed to traffic. The waters of the River Lune in the vicinity of the bridge is popular with scuba divers due to good visibility in the deep rock pools and it is not unusual to find swimmers enjoying the deep clear waters.
