A moment of mayhem

The massed bands of goldfinches drop lots of the sunflower hearts on the ground as they are such messy feeders.  They then descend to help themselves in a bit of a feeding frenzy

This was taken through the kitchen window - and some of them spotted me and started to head off !!

I had hoped to blip a photo of the Samoan rugby team but when they came to our Bridge Club (which shares premises with the local Rugby Club) security was so tight that the only chance of a shot was leaning out through the window.  It's their designated training ground - and they are enormous !!!!
