Braderie
Up bright and early to get to the Braderie and buy some bargains - and we certainly succeeded!
This young whippersnapper was on a stall that was a complete treasure trove - I bought some sort of deer or antelope skull for £10, a taxidermied duckling for £10, a porcelain doll for £10, and a card marker for £30 (going for £100+ on eBay!!). I also bought a couple of painted jade eggs for a tenner from a different stall.
Jackie was in her element - her purchases included an old fashioned stapler, a card shuffler, a bobbin set from a big loom (including a shuttle) and a couple of other things too. She really loved it and is talking about coming back next year!
Had a quick sandwich lunch before heading out again. I needed to get indoors - so much sun was sending me a bit light headed!
The boy went home today, so we had a nice dinner and watched the Go-Between, so a relaxed evening before a relatively early night.
