Ancient

I had to have something signed today by a Notary Public.  
A very interesting very old man who told me he had never wanted to be a solicitor. He was told to be an accountant or a solicitor and he chose the one he thought would be least boring.  He had wanted to be a chemist.  I asked him if this was still true.  He said not really, he wanted to be a street photographer.  
When I told him I always carried a camera with me and that I was looking around his room with great interest, he said; ' why don't you take it out and take a few shots'.  So I did, but not of him.  

And lots more besides on a busy day.  But more of that later.
