Knot

14.7C and dull with rain all morning, clearing through the afternoon. Zephyr.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk about 3pm when the rain had finally started to clear. We went down the road to Westhaven beach. The tide was well out. Valhalla A was moored out in the channel through the rocks, and two smaller boats were lying on the sand nearer the beach. We wandered out onto the wet sand to look for something interesting. I decided on this knot in one of the mooring ropes.

We walked along to the Carnoustie seafront then went up to the High Street and back along to rejoin our usual route home. At least we didn't get wet.
