We had tickets for a Tugg promoted screening of an important film last night.  The UnSlut Project is the creation of a brilliant young woman we are lucky enough to  know, Emily Lundin. Emily is working "to undo the dangerous"slut" shaming and sexual bullying in our schools, communities, media and culture."  The production and filming was funded by Kickstarter. The evening was thought provoking, the shocking speed of instant slut-shaming labeling of individuals by their peer group or others is terrifying in this age of social media. 

Gregory went with us as well, and we spent the 45 minute drive home in deep discussion. Please take a look at the links I have provided. Perhaps your community would be interested in hosting the film, promoting dialogue, continuing the discussion, and working to change the culture. This change can help save the lives of many slut-shamed young women. 

Emily has written a book, portions of which include her childhood diary detailing her own experiences beginning at age 11. It's now available on Amazon for pre-order. Thanks for looking.
