Taste From Heaven
This is the chef from Taste From Heaven showing Courtney how to cook deep fried ice cream.
Travel Diary:
Courtney: Today we had to check out of the Bed and Terrace and go to the Parami guesthouse because there weren't rooms available past the two nights we had stayed. We got a red truck over to Parami and checked in. The room was nice, not as fancy as the one before where we had a TV and a fridge. There was a little pond in the living room area which was really pretty, had to cross it on the stepping stones.
After we unpacked we headed down the road to find a cafe called Love at First Bite, which apparently is famous for its cheesecakes. But it was closed :( So we headed in the direction of Taste From Heaven where we had a cooking class at 3pm. We stopped at a place called Phil's Dinner for a drink. The courtyard where we sat was amazing, lots of trees like a little jungle Steve: (and it had kitties!).
We went to our cooking course at Taste From Heaven after this/ We were lead upstairs to an outside kitchen with a table full of ingredients. The chef immediately got us started making the sticky rice and mango dessert we had selected. We then worked our way through the other 8 dishes, it was great to be told how they were made. At the end we presented with our dishes and told to tuck in! We ate as much as we could befre foing back to finish our final dish; deep fried strawberry ice cream.
