Ultra Project.

What a coincidence - On Tuesday (see my blip) we visited Bletchley Park and today the Alan Turing exhibition opened at the Science Museum in London. I'm pleased that I chose a photo featuring Alan Turing for my blip as I had quite a lot to choose from.

However, the coincidence doesn't stop there because today I bought one of the new breed of laptops, an Ultrabook. It is the word Ultra which binds them together as, of course, the work in Bletchley to break the Enigma code became known as the Ultra Project.

On the screen of my new Ultrabook is a photo of a sculpture in Bletchley Park of Alan Turing worked in slate in 2007, the sculptor being Stephen Kettle. More detail can be viewed at http://www.stephenkettle.co.uk/turing.html
