Burning the candle at both ends

I'm wearing my cycling top for a reason in this picture. Played badminton last night with Mick and Coral. Cycling coast to coast is an idea put forward by Mick. I happened to mention it in the bar after the game and it was clear that he hadn't mentioned it to Coral. I knew that she somewhat resented the time he put into training for the London to Brighton ride we did back in June, I just didn't realize how much. That became clear last night. She really resents him doing anything that excludes her. I pretty much felt like the mistress that had broken up a happy marriage. I'd better watch my back and I can forget any idea of doing the coast to coast with Mick. That's just not going to happen. Coral won't allow it. Looks like I'm doing that one on my own.
