When you're sitting comfortably....

Black-winged Stilt having a sit down & relax, but doesn't he or she look comical? I think the way those super long wading legs fold up is the odd bit and of course their 'knee joint' folds the opposite way to ours. I didn't disturb the bird and I was pleased it was able to rest. Standing up all day on those legs must be tiring. I know I've got lots of this type of bird but nor one shot before of the bird having a sit down.
