Digging In

I had tickets for a kids theatre event at The Tron in Glasgow today. It didn't start till 1pm but as Ethan had requested a visit to the Lego Shop too, I left 2 hours beforehand. It normally takes about 35 minutes to get to Glasgow but I didn't realise there are major roadworks on the M8 at the moment. 1 hour 45 minutes later we finally made it to Glasgow! Ran, with Ethan on my back, to the theatre ... onlly to discover I had the wrong day and it had been on the day before!!

Ethan wasn't too fussed though as having told him in he traffic jam that there wasn't time to go to The Lego Store after all, we got to go for ages!

Then off to Pollock Park to meet Granny & Grandpa to check out the Digging In event. It's an educational event where trenches are being dug to represent the Allied & German trenches during WW1. They're going to carry on building them for the next few years so it will be good to go back again when there is more there.
