Precious moments

I do love this photograph of Alice at her wedding a few weeks ago. Just using the light from the window to light her face and no other light it creates a lovely contrasty image with tonnes of light and shade. I'm a big fan of Cliff Mautner who is one of the best wedding photographers in the world. He does a ot of this sort of thing, using shafts of light rather than flooding a room with light. I'm loving the way the D610 handles low light, far better than my old DX ever was. Now I need to get another one of these as my back up camera. It's never ending once you start upgrading kit!
