September Rose

The sunshine and warmth of Abbeville at the weekend has been replaced by the rain and damp of England today. As I arrived home after a slow drive in heavy traffic, I spotted this beautiful pink rose bud on the rose bush outside my cottage.

If, like me, you find the change of the seasons hard to bear then I urge you to look beyond the grey and miserable drizzly weather and if you look hard enough there'll be colour and warmth staring right at you.

On that note time for a cup of tea...
