Tight lines in Mull
I went out for a day's fishing on the lower reach of the Bellart. Seven hours of flogging the water with various apparatus failed to secure a single fish.
The river runs almost silently through tight peat beds, the ground is marshy and hummocky with tall soaking reeds and grasses. But it was an enjoyable time and the four blokes from Glasgow also on the river caught as little as me.
