The Red Neck Games

A country fair with plenty of home spun charm.
This event, held in a field opposite the Falcon Inn
adjoining the main Scarborough to Whitby Road,
was to raise money towards the upkeep of the
old Church at Staintondale. There was something
of the Thomas Hardy about all this and the mixed
expressions of concentration and joy were there
to behold in both young and old.
