Verona

Today we transferred over to Verona where we will be staying the night. Much warmer here, 30 degrees during the day.

We are going to a concert at the Arena, Eros Ramazzotti, slightly known in the UK I think, but a big name in most of Europe. The concert starts at 9:20 and finishes just before midnight.

The Arena holds 15,000, and as far as I can see it is at full capacity, he has another two concerts in Verona on Friday and Saturday. With the weather so warm it is comfortable to be outside up to midnight and beyond without a jacket.

After the show we adjourned to one of the bars in the Piazza before returning to our hotel, a five minute walk away, at around 1 am.

I have added a couple of extra photos today. No restrictions on filming or photography during the show which was nice. The show is also being recorded for television, though I don't think it will be shown until a later date. I thought the lead guitar had an uncanny resemblance to James May!
