Wet walk today

Went out late today because of the morning rain but the ground was still wet and light drizzle was hanging in the air.
It's ok though, they kick up some wet muck with their feet so when we get home I just have to towel off their underneath parts and legs. Not as bad as the collies, labs and spaniels that we see head to tail in mud!

On the bike front I decided that, after losing one bolt, it needed a plate secured inside to prevent another bolt dropping out, not that I think they will now.
Made a plate, some slight trimming to do but thank goodness I've got my angle grinder. I'm using the bottom of an old stainless steel butter dish and it's really tough to saw, drill and file. Made the holes by drilling and then using an abrasive tool on the drill. The outside was cut out with the angle grinder, change the disc and trim the edges to the correct size which isn't quite finished yet. yes it is finished now - (Extra photo)
