Just a hover fly.

It's important to just stop, wait and breathe.  Especially with macro shots, I think.

This little guy was about 12mm long.  Almost missed him as I trundled around the garden looking for lizards or hoppers or big spiders.

Might put the mid-flight shot and another on Flickr.  Shot some film today too.
