And the best Thursday on record. Accepting my parenting failure of last week, this week I pretended I only had two children left the younger boys with a childminder. So 90 minutes of hell crowd control turned into a pleasant hour's swim with a single child! Not the same child either. Tried to teach child#2 to dive and to realise she had the same chance of drowning in the shallow end as the deep end. Then went play swimming with child#1 in the other pool and got a huge wedgy on the fast slider. Then off to collect children#3&4 who'd not noticed I wasn't there had a lovely afternoon.

It's been a while since I've got past 4.15pm on a Thursday without craving a gin IV.
