Borders railway

Today I went on the borders railway on a steam train! Jonty bought us and his grandparents tickets in first class for a return journey from Edinburgh to Tweedbank. The trip was absolutely lovely, if a bit tiring! We had prosecco when we left the station, followed by pastries. We then headed off to Melrose abbey, before getting back on the train for afternoon tea! Unfortunately I couldn't eat most of the food but I did bring my own packed lunch so I wasn't hungry. 

I then headed straight back to St Andrews - I was far too tired to stay in Edinburgh and catch a later train. I got back about 8.30pm and sat in bed and watched TV for the rest of the night!
