The fallen

Rather chilly this morning (for Perth that is!!) even a wee bit of ice about and beautiful blue sky for the shortest day of the year.

This piccy is of one of the many palm fronds that are lying about up at the pool (sorry!) They have fantastic colours and patterns inside then and I have far too many shots of them! (more to follow)

I love the frayed and ripped edges where they have been battered about in the wind (which we have had muchos of in the past few weeks! )
