Build a bed, no I just think we need one

No but seriously when did the buying and constructing of two beds become such a back braking knee mangling experience.

Either the flat pack contraptions on which we sleep are becoming heavier and require more exhausting to set up or we are simply getting unfitter and older as the days go by. So much for 'another peaceful weekend', that said, I did manage a lie in til 9.30am which is phenomenal, no Radio 4 or quiet music to put me back to sleep after the habitual early morning awakening.

The last few months have been busier than the normal months and my ability to step back and spend 5 minutes writing down what I think has diminsihed to such an extent that it is almost non-existent. I think I shall be aiming to post from a computer for the next wee while simply as typing is fast and mobile phones are slow and more often than not I am selecting words according to auto suggest terms. When your thoughts are being moulded by what words pop up on a screen, you know it is time to wrestle back control.

A friend popped round today, and I felt obliged to make excuses for the lack of contact. Iy was great to see him, as he plans now to go to India to see some family.

The rest of the day, we spent building two beds! Woohoo, they are nice and the girls helped in the construction of them, well until they started putting the wrong parts in the wrong holes and someone had to spend an age removing them.

A brilliant, but tiring day.
